Duvan Ríos was the first to receive the attacks. The events occurred in the village of El Tarra, North of Santander. Gunmen entered his house and without words he was killed. Once at the hospital, which is close to the police station, three hooded strangers with a gun came in to find out if Duvan Rios was still alive or not in order to “finish him”.
A similar situation occurred to Molina. It was one o'clock in the morning when the hit men took him out of his house in Ituango, a few meters from the Local Transitional Zone, and shot him three times.
Counting these mentioned murders, a total amount of 7 FARC-EP members have been murdered since the Peace Agreement and 8 relatives of guerrillas have also been killed.
While the FARC fully complies with the agreement signed in Havana, the State constantly violates and denies the existence of paramilitary groups which have not only taken the lives of members of the FARC and their families, but also human rights defenders, social leaders and political opposition in general.
