For Nachman, this first encounter is very important because it is essential that all relatives of forced disappearance "listen to each other".
According to the member of “Hijos e Hijas”, various governments have been responsible for the sophistication or perfection of forced disappearances to perpetuate impunity and the guarantee of non-access to truth on part of the relatives who are victims, “forced disappearance has been a repressive mechanism to which impunity has been guaranteed towards the perpetrators by different State orders”.
The practice of forced disappearance has been enforced by different States, initially by the Nazis, then by the French with Algeria, the Americans in Indochina and then with the School of the Americas it began in Latin America.
At the meeting, Nachman said that the best way to be able to resist against the impunity of diverse governments is for all the victims to "get together to listen to each other and to work together".
In addition, other possibilities that Nachman's highlighted is to demand the State and the Government to release the military reports that they have regarding the disappearance of people, murder and genocide.
"We must continue to believe that we have the strength, the heart and the conviction that justice is necessary in order to find out who took them and where are these missing people" Nachman concluded.
