About 445 proposals were received from these groups, which were summarized into 57 focal points by the Delegations, in order to expedite the discussion.
Non-stop meetings have been held since Saturday the 5th of November. The Delegations have come to agreements on the adjustments for the first point of the Final Agreement, Comprehensive Rural Reform. Also, the fourth point on illicit drugs has been completed.
Some aspects of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace have been discussed already, but there still remain important issues of this crucial point. As for Political Participation (the second item of the Final Agreement), the mayor part has been concluded.
The Delegations are working hard to make the ajustments to the Final Agreement and start the implementation phase of the agreements as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the Monitoring and Verification Mechanisms (UN, FARC-EP and Colombian army) has started activities in Colombia and guerrilla troops are in what they have called a “pre-grouping” situation: a species of troops concentration before entering the Transitory Normalization Areas.
