The Follow up, Promotion and Implementation Commission of the Final [Peace] Agreement, (CSIVI for its acronym in Spanish) reports that:
Following the review of the minimum requirements for nomination established in Joint Communiqué # 18 of April of this year, out of almost 100 departmental, 5 national and 1 by LGBT applications, a pre-selection of candidates for the conformation of the Special Instance to contribute to the incorporation of the gender approach in the implementation of the Final Agreement was established.
From the CSIVI, we wish to give special recognition to each of the nominated organizations and women for their praiseworthy work in the defense of women's rights, peace-building and the work that each of them carry out every day in their territories and their commitment to building a stable and lasting peace.
We reiterate the commitment of the parties with the inclusion of the gender approach in the implementation of the Final Agreement.
Finally, we inform that in the coming days the names of the 7 women who will be part of this Special Instance during the next two years will be announced.
