Following the acknowledgment of responsibility by the FARC-EP in the municipality of Bojayá, Chocó, on December 6, 2015, delegations of the National Government and the FARC-EP met today with representatives of the communities affected by the events which happened on May 2, 2002 in this village.
The Block Martin Caballero of the FARC-EP reports:
1. The population of the rural area of the municipality of La Paz, department of Cesar, is bewildered, confused, worried and frightened because of the intense operations carried out by troops of the Tenth Armored Brigade. Villagers and guerrillas wonder now what is their desire for peace and the origin of these contradictions.
Jesus Caceres Ortiz, a young 21-year-old community leader and member of the LGBTI community has been murdered, denounced the political movement Marcha Patriotica in North Santander.
Different social organisations and movements of victims and human rights, made a general call today to get mobilised for peace on the 9th of April. The march will leave from the Historical Memory Center and end up at the Plaza de Bolívar in the center of Bogotá.

Two brothers, Cristian and Jorge Castiblanco, (23 and 18) and Alex Carrillo (35) have been found dead in Ricaurte, municipality of Girardot. They had disappeared on 14 March in the municipality of Cabrera.

The Coalition ?Larga Vida a las Mariposas? (A coalition of different organizations that fight for the rights of political prisoners in Colombia, NT) welcomes and supports the decision announced today November 22 by the National Government to grant pardon to 30 members of the FARC-EP, prosecuted for the crime of rebellion. This in the context of peace negotiations carried out in Havana-Cuba.

Havana, Cuba - Spokesman of the FARC-EP Ricardo T?llez took the floor today in Havana, Cuba, to denounce the situation of political prisoners in Colombia. He accused the Colombian government of ignoring the existence of political prisoners in Colombia, while there are more than 9.500, without medical attention, overcrowding and resisting permanent repression and mistreatment of the INPEC guards.
